Facebook Shut Down = FAKE
That means it is hoax! Common sense, as you can see on the article stating 15th March but without stating on the YEAR! Which year of the March 15th will Facebook shut down? No one ever thought about this disclosure??? Now the hoax has been spread like a swine flu coming from China to the rest of the world!
The article seems like a professional piece of work, yeah it is a real piece of work to play a prank on everyone in the Facebook... But check the fact please everyone!!
2nd of all, if you just Google it there is no news about Mark Zuckerberg making such statement!!
3rd, even in the movie Social Network that we had seen the determination of Mark Zuckerberg to improve the social website regardless being sued by so many people!! Facebook is huge, so if any legit news come out I believe the Fox News will announce it :D
Once again there is no "YEAR" stated in the article! And the weeklyworldnews released a new artcile about Kim Kardashian's butt exploded!

RM10,000 Fines for Porn Clips
First thing got my notice in Facebook was this:-
Seriously was this comment even necessarily? This is a bad Facebook wall post I've read, posted by a guy who didn't want to accept the facebook friend request from an unknown "female" account eventhough he end up accepting the facebook friend request. HELLOOOO You can click IGNORE!!
We all had been into this kind of situation whereby people add us out of no where (you do not recognise him or her at all) and then you find out that account keeps adding "zap pa lang" people just to get fame, you feel like been used.... But come on, yourself wish to have more friends in Facebook too right? That's why you accepted the request. It all comes down to whether do you really care about what people think about your Facebook account?
RM10,000 Fines for Porn Clips being stored in laptop
Tang Wei Khang from Taman Juru pleaded guilty to committing the offence at J & S Communication Trading sales counter in Megamal Pinang complex, Prai at 8.50pm on Aug 24.
The offence, under Section 5(1)(a) of the Film Censorship Act 2002, is punishable under Section 5(2) of the same Act.
Under the Act, an offender can be slapped with a minimum fine of RM10,000 or a maximum fine of RM50,000 or jailed up to five years or both.
So be reminded not to store pornography videos in your computer or laptop. Or store them but don't get caught?? Because of the piracy gets worse in our country Malaysia, that's why the court have to take action.

Prevent being used by Facebook Ads!
BE ALERT OF THIS NOW!!!
Facebook has agreed to let third party advertisers to use your posted pictures without your permission.
STEP ONE
Click on "Settings" up at the top where you see it beside the "Logout" link.
STEP TWO
Select "Privacy". Then select "News Feed and Wall". Next, select the tab that state "Facebook Ads".
STEP THREE
Select "No One" from the drop down box. Then save your changes.
TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THIS SO YOU WON'T SEE THEIR PICTURE IN THE ADVERTISEMENTS....
Unless your friends wish to have their pictures shown to the rest of the world =D

See Who View My Facebook?
"See Who View My Facebook" application group is a SCAM! DON'T JOIN!
Well Facebook do not provide such application yet, maybe in the future they might consider adding one, though I don't see the reason to add one, do you?
So here are the information I gathered from Facebook Help page to clear everyone's(including my friends) thoughts on the possibility of getting notification on who view my facebook. Seriously it is annoying for me so I like it this way where no notification about who viewed my profile or vice versa......
* Can I see who's viewed my profile? There's a group or application claiming I can find out who has been viewing my profile.
Facebook does not allow users to track profile views or see statistics on how often a particular piece of content has been viewed and by whom without your consent.
If a Group or Application claims to provide this functionality, please report it to us here, as this is a violation of our Terms of Use.

Facebook currently does not provide an application that allows users to track profile views or statistics on the views of any specific user content. Third party developers, however, may offer applications that provide some of this functionality. Please keep a few things in mind for these applications:

Friend Requests on Facebook FAQ
Can We Check Friend Requests on Facebook?
Well you can't actually... Unless you keep a list of those facbeook profile you have made "friend request" otherwise you won't be able to check the list of facebook users that you had requested. But you will be able to know whether the facebook user had accepted your request or not as it will have :-
#"Awaiting Friend Confirmation." = when you have not response to the friend request or
#"Friend Requested." = when you have requested and the user had not response.
Can we view the user profile if he/she had made a friend request on me?
Yes we can view the user profile, once the user tried to add us as friend (Awaiting Friend Confirmation).
They can also view our profile when we try to add the user as friend (Friend Requested).
Just so you know, the friend request can last FOREVER if they don't response....
It's ok because now we can CANCEL the friend request on facebook!

Funny Facebook Quiz
Yes I recently(yesterday) just encountered another funny facebook quiz due to my friend request on doing the quiz, I done it.
As you can see the quiz result shows that I have NO BUTT! Clearly everyone has butt unless you cut it off!! Duh...But seriously it is really funny when I published the result in the facebook showing it to all my friends.
There is one called me alien and another called me no butt guy. HAHA!
Well it is great to be able to share the laughter around the network with just a small quiz like that!
Things like this should be shared around, there is no good or bad result as they all aren't accurate but there is a funny or plain result =)
For the last time I have butt =p

How to Cancel a Friend Request in Facebook?
Did anyone of you trying to find out the way to cancel a friend request in Facebook, because you can do it in Friendster.
Well some of us just won't response to the friend request, probably they don't want to click "ignore" and offended you or they just want to see a lot of friend request in the notification. Otherwise it was you who requested the wrong profile to be added.
So for whatever reason we wanted to cancel the friend request we done right? Here's the steps you need to follow in order to get the request canceled.
STEPS~~~~~~
1. Click on the 'Setting' link located in the top right hand corner of the page then click "Privacy Setting". OR
You can block someone by navigating to the Privacy page.
2. Go to the 'Block People' section (as shown in the picture).
3. Enter the name of the recipient and click 'Block'.
4. Facebook will show you a list of people with the similar name or variations of name. You locate the one you wish to block and click 'Block Person'.
* The recipient is now blocked and will not see your friend request!
* After some time has passed, unblock the recipient. You and they will not see the friend request, but now they can search for you and/or view your profile unless you set otherwise in your privacy settings.

LOL a prank from a friend of mine. After taking the "How well do you know SamSeiko" quiz he went haywire and put my name as one of the Halloween costume answers....haha funny isn't it?
Now everyone who took his quiz will be wondering who's name is that? lol...
Well it is sure fun when the quiz disease spread thorough facebook ^^

Stop Facebook-ing, Save GPA!
Yes you heard me there! Stop making a lot Facebook profile updates now, so you can save your academic results! I have an article that proves people spend more time on Facebook but spend less time studying.... Is Facebook really that addictive???
Researchers have discovered how students who spend their time accumulating friends, chatting and “poking” others on the site may devote as little as one hour a week to their academic work.
Isn't that is what you are doing it everyday? Just poking around people or friends in Facebook and then if you see the chat pops up indicating someone's online you will go private message and there you go...You spent more than few minutes in Facebook just like what Times of London said.
Well we will never know until someone do a survey on it right? So here it is.
They found that 65% of Facebook users accessed their account daily, usually checking it several times to see if they had received new messages. The amount of time spent on Facebook at each log-in varied from just a few minutes to more than an hour.
Remarkable isn't it? This is taken from Times of London too.
So it is time to have a good time management and don't procrastinate your work. This can avoid stray away from your objectives during the day.
